Antique Porcelain and Ormolu Gueridon Table
About the Item
This delicately detailed circular gueridon table is crafted of ormolu, and features a very fine hand painted porcelain top. The porcelain top is decorated with flowers in circular patterns, set on a white ground with parcel gilt detailing. The edge of the tabletop is made of horizontally ribbed ormolu, which is set upon a central support formed of four, narrow ormolu pillars, of which the central pillar is beaded. The support is set onto an ornate tri-form base with an egg and dart border and three paw feet.
