Inspiration:
These tables evoke those old pieces that we want to redeem for our contemporary homes. These old pieces are unique because they arouse cherished memories and employ innovative techniques of production, which have been lost in the process of industrialization. With their battered appearance, the Antique table tops record the passage of time. The classic frieze reinforces the connection with the past, contrasting with the general contemporary appearance.
Materials: Oxidized brushed brass with matte anti-stain varnish, Extra clear tempered glass.

In 2013, the Portuguese designer João Bessa founded Bessa, an Art and Design brand that creates functional art pieces (furniture and lighting) based on true stories.
