This style of trestle dining table is referred to in Sweden as a "bibliotek" or library table. It is equally at home in a dining room, a library or as a handsome writing table or desk. While this table has some traditional elements such as carved wood it is still quite modern with the simplistic clean lines. Tabletop is newly made in solid oak to match the original carved base from the 1930’s, so you get the best of vintage (almost antique) with a larger, sturdier tabletop.

Wear consistent with age and use. The top of this table is a newly constructed custom top as the original had far too much wear to salvage. The new top of solid wood blends nicely with the original base. Made of oak.
