Mid 20th Century Hand Carved Wood Elephant Dining Room Set
About the Item
A stunning mid 20th century Anglo Indian vintage hand carved hardwood living room set. Comprising a set of 4 tub armchairs and a circular table, hand carved and modelled as a standing elephant. Each chair is hand carved from a single piece of hardwood timber with a tub form seating area. These exceptional and highly decorative chairs and table are very comfortable and beautifully detailed with painted eyes, nails and wooden white painted tusks.
The dimensions of the table are:

Width: 60cm (23.6in)
Depth: 68cm (26.8in)
Seat height: 44cm
Very pleasant seating, so decorative and a rather pleasing example.
The set of 4 carved chairs and circular carved table are in good antique condition throughout with no signs of age and remain in good, clean condition. The antique carved armchairs and table remains structurally sound. Overall, a good example.
