Xavier Marbeau Very Rare Modular Positioning Desk, France, 1960s

About

A very rare and architectural desk by French designer Xavier Marbeau. The desk can be placed in an elongated or L-shaped position. The frame and top are made of thick glass plates and the drawers are made of ebonized oak with aluminium grips. The tops on both sides are made of white trespa (Formica) and the construction is held together with stainless steel bolts. Dimensions when positioned in full length are height 72 cm depth 79 cm, width 274 cm.
