Whitewashed Ash Linderman Wall-Mounted Desk with Leather Wrapped Drawer in Stock
About the Item
New York Heartwoods' Linderman wall-mounted desk is influenced by Mid-Century Modern, Shaker and Asian design, and features a hand-shaped base, leather wrapped pen drawer (shown here in Coral) with a brass pull, faceted breadboard ends, and brass mounting hardware. This is a floor model that we're selling to make room for other furniture.
Each of our desks are made with wood milled from urban and fallen local trees and finished with a hand-rubbed satin matte white oil that fills the grain and gives the piece a subtle luster. The leather used is sustainable, locally sourced, and vegetable tanned.
The desk is suitable as a console, child's desk, or entry table, and is compact making it ideal for small rooms and urban spaces.
Made in the Hudson Valley by a fully women-owned and operated furniture studio with a passion for thoughtfully hand-crafted timeless designs.

New York Heartwoods
New York Heartwoods (NYH) is a woman-owned and operated fabricator of fine solid wood furniture, using sustainable wood milled from fallen and urban Hudson Valley trees. Founded in 2011 out of our love of forests and our desire to create both beautiful timeless designs and environmental and economic solutions for our community, we impeccably craft unique heirloom-quality furniture and work closely with our clients to create custom pieces for residential and commercial interiors. NYH began as a lumber and slab producer and retailer, sourcing logs from local landowners and tree services. Requests for furniture and retail displays made with that wood soon followed. In Fall 2017, after several years of doing custom fabrication, NYH launched its first collection, some of which is showcased on this platform. With our background in wood production we additionally work with our clients to create finished products from their own trees. Overseeing the milling and drying allows us to produce the materials needed to fabricate pieces to desired specifications, and create furniture that has immeasurable value.
