An 18th Century Georgian Mahogany Bureau Having Well Figured Fall Flap Above Four Long Drawers With Original Water Gilt Handles Raised On Original Bracket Feet (Typical of the late 18th century this bureau is a perfect example of the effort that went into making functional furniture look attractive. The flamed veneers have been carefully selected, the interior is both elegant and practical and the water gilt handles are a wonderfully decorative touch. As fit for purpose as the day it was made and incredibly useful)
