English burl walnut Davenport desk with carved floral fret work, hinged lid revealing fitted interior with original ink wells, leather hinged writing surface with four fitted interior drawers, hinged side door with four interior sliding drawers and the original wood knobs, and terminating on scrolled acanthus cabriole cupped legs with the original brass casters. Mid-19th century.
