  • "0024XXL" Pendant Lamp in Glass and Brass Designed by Gio' Ponti for FontanaArte
    By Fontana Arte, Gio Ponti
    Located in Brooklyn, NY
"0024XXL" is an extra large sized pendant lamp, with triple the diameter of the classic lamp originally designed by Gio' Ponti in 1932, manufactured by FontanaArte, featuring a chrome plated brass frame and transparent tempered glass discs. The 11.8" diameter central tubular sandblasted glass diffuser holds four G5 54W fluorescent light sources with DALI digital electronic power supply. The four suspension cables are housed in the canopy cover and the required length should be indicated at time of ordering. DIMENSIONS: Ø 55.7", H. 54.5" The lamp is levelled once mounted, using special tensioners fitted to the suspension cables. A version with methacrylate discs and/or emergency lighting is available upon request. In this case, two beams of light ensure about one hour of autonomy without power supply. Ceiling strength should be verified in advance, due to the weight of the lamp (about 661 Lbs for glass disc version and about 440 Lbs for the methacrylate disc version).
