Rare Grand Server Convertible Bar/Coffee Table Designed for the World's Fair



Vintage biomorphic "Grand Server" bar/coffee table with a unique hideaway bottle holder. The tabletop slides over to open; when open an interior bottle holder is revealed which lifts up and locks into place at table height. When finished entertaining, lift up on the server handles to unlock, the bottle holder drops down and slides the top closed. This model was showcased at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York City; the "Grand Server" was manufactured by A.H. Stock in a limited edition.
