Italien Coffee Table by Pierluigi Giordani, 1950s

About
Rare coffee table by Pierluigi Giordani made from walnut, circa 1955.
The square table top has a beautiful veneered walnut inlay of four parts and the biomorphic shaped base is made of solid walnut.
The whole is in very good condition and on photo 8 one can see an older small restoration on one of the corners which is almost invisible.
The work of Pierluigi Giordani was of a high quality comparable to the work of Ico Parisi and Gio Ponti, but the design was more organic than his Italian colleagues.
