Brutalist Pine Coffee Table by Jens Lyngsøe for Havdrup Trævarefabrik

About the Item

A beautiful coffee table made of Pomeranian pine, by Jens Lyngsøe for Havdrup Trævarefabrik. Made from the wood of old demolished buildings such as a blue-yellow warehouse in Copenhagen, which was dated around the year 1700. The designer became famous because he started to recycle this very old wood in his designs. The look is very tough and rugged. That is why this coffee table also fits perfectly in a Brutalist interior. This table is rare, not many of this model were made at the time.
