Rosso Alicante Table
About the Item
The Rosso Alicante table was created by Bruno Vaerini an Italian Architect/sculpturer in 2009. The table was inspired by the altarpiece of Piero Della Francesca placed in Brera. In the painting the red color comes from the marble in the background. Rosso Alicanti marble was widely used in the construction of churches during the Renaissance. The table’s thick slabs of marble create a sculptural presence. The sparse glass oval top enhances the matte marble finish and allows the viewer to observe the beauty of the marble base.
The table is unique and is located in Italy.
