Empire Splendid French Saloon Table, Bronze Gilt
About the Item
Finely chased and gilded bronze in wax casting. Three curly legs connected with gutter. Medium with garland-shaped decoration. The legs are in the form of three winged, fully plastic female bodies, ending in paw feet. Slightly protruding, round cover plate with a framed marble top. Such a gem can be admired only in the French museums. An absolute rarity! Solid bronze, very heavy! the grain of the marble slab may vary slightly.
