Antique Italianate Neoclassical Paint Decorated Center Table
About the Item
The large round tabletop painted in a mottled red-brown faux marble finish with a bull nose edge. Raised on a classical carved solid tripod base with faux marble painted panels and each decorated with a crest, a crown or a medallion. The carved supports with duck head tops. There are a pair of later custom wood supports on the top underside (see photograph).
Measures: Height 29", diameter 41 1/2"
Condition: spots and losses to the finish on the top, well-weathered base and having time-worn decoration with the table presenting exceptionally well. (Please see photos).
