Aldo Cibic
The architect Aldo Cibic gradually established himself as a designer over the course of many years and through a wide variety of professional experiences acquired through his involvement in highly original projects. A founding member of the Memphis Design Movement, he established the Cibic Workshop with a view to developing projects in which there would be a clear focus on design, the creation of domestic interiors and architectural works both in Italy and abroad. Since that time, Cibic has continued to extend the boundaries of traditional design, and within this field has concentrated on stimulating and broadening the scope of possible relationships between people, objects and places. A Sense of joy and vitality are always present and identifiable at the core of his research projects and may be considered also as a result of his use of colour and particular materials. Besides his own creative work, on the basis of which he was recognised as a pioneer when he produced the Standard Collection in 1991, the elements he includes in his interior design solutions, such as pieces of furniture, lamps and other objects required within the domestic environment, may be found in the collections of Venini, Paola C., Artemide, Foscarini, Cappellini, Riva 1920 and other specialists.

- Minimalist Timeless Wardrobe in Walnut WoodBy Alvaro SizaLocated in Lisbon, PTDon't miss your chance to own this exceptional piece designed by the renowned architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. The ALFAMA wardrobe is truly one of a kind and will never be produced again. A key element for modern living is an efficient use of space. The less area we use for storage, the more room will be available to other things that makes you enjoy living. ALFAMA wardrobe is, in its own unique way, Siza´s proposition to meet these requirements – the ideal cabinet that fits both small and larger apartments and bedrooms. Due to a simple system based on a metal piece placed crosswise, clothes are not hanged next to each other, but behind each other. That creates a little cabinet depth of 51 cm and prevents it from taking much space in the room. On the other hand, its taller than usual expression lies in the fact that Siza wanted to have a dimension that could easily keep a classic long trench coat without the need to fold it. The open top and back of the wardrobe creates constant air ventilation, which allows freshness and, in the author´s own words, “prevents it from the sensation that it has been closed for a long time”. On the bottom of the wardrobe there are two shelves, great for shoes, hand bags...Category
