About the Item
Rare and large 18th century French armoire or wardrobe constructed of walnut wood. This intricately carved Louis XV period piece features beautiful mirrored doors and a wonderful "chapeau gendarme" crown molding. It is generously sized with delightful proportions.
The interior features ample storage space for clothing, bed and bath linens with its two shelves, one center divider, two lower compartments to hang clothing and additional space in this area. There are also two drawers on the bottom.

Very good antique condition, all original except part of the backing was removed for a TV and replaced with other wood.
