Golden Ash Art Deco Armoire, Sweden 1935

About the Item

Designed before the age of closets, this cabinet, crafted of birch, ash and fir and primarily veneered in golden ash, was fitted to hold most of the wardrobe of its owner. Six large, deep sections (with shelves of adjustable heights) rest upon a pair of deep, smoothly opening drawers. The top, base and decorative appliques as well as the hardware, are crafted of contrasting walnut-stained birch.
