About the Item
Elegant and unusual two-doored Art Deco Armoire from Czechia, circa 1930.
The wood is plywood (beech) painted in a wonderful bookmatched Palisander veneer optic, a quite rare technique from this period.
Around the whole edge of the trunk, there is a chromed steel tube running.
The original handles on the front are also made of steel and have been newly galvanized during the restoration.
Inside, there are several original and adjustable holes for four shelf compartments and there is one chromed steel tube handing rail for when the shelves are not put in.
