About the Item

Elegant and unusual two-doored Art Deco Armoire from Czechia, circa 1930. The wood is plywood (beech) painted in a wonderful bookmatched Palisander veneer optic, a quite rare technique from this period. Around the whole edge of the trunk, there is a chromed steel tube running. The original handles on the front are also made of steel and have been newly galvanized during the restoration.
