PLÉE In purple ebony wood with geometric inlays, signed by French cabinetmaker Pierre Plée: Pierre Plée (1742-1810) was a leading Mâitre of the Louis Xv, Transition and Louis XVI periods; this secretaire is stamped on the backrest P. Plée and JME.
