Small Georgian Elm Bureau

About the Item

A delightful early 18th century George I Period Elm  bureau of diminutive proportions having well figured fall front enclosing drawers and pigeon holes over two short and three long drawers with original brasswear raised on original shaped bracket feet retaining exceptional colour and patina throughout (This bureau which is around 300 years old retains  a wonderful rich, warm colour and is constructed from  attractive figured elm timbers. It is also a sweet, useful  size and would slot perfectly into just about any space imaginable whilst still providing practicality, form and function. It really is a special piece of furniture for so  many different reasons and is a perfect prospective  purchase for both collectors and home furnishers alike).
