18th Century Italian Piemonte Commode Secretary Desk

About the Item

Traditional 18th century Italian secretary desk from the Piemonte region made from solid walnut. A fine Italian walnut and inlaid bureau with drop leaf dating back to 18th century, waving front, three deep and large drawers; a fall-front opening to reveal a fitted interior with compartments and five small drawers. It stands on solid very feet. The scrolled decoration makes this antique Italian bureau very elegant. It is in good age related condition, restored. With drop-leaf open it is 32 1/2 inches deep.
