An 18th C. Swedish Late Gustavian Wood Cabinet with Original Green Yellow Paint
About
An 18th century Swedish late Gustavian cabinet with original paint. This painted wood cabinet features two reeded doors topped with a dentil molding. A pair of brackets/ volutes connect the top part to the lower doors, also reeded. The doors open up to a series of inner shelves, including a small spoon shelf at the very top. The cabinet is raised on bun feet, which have been replaced. The color is of a light green with some white accents and wood coming through. This piece would look perfect in a living room or family room.
