Neary Credenza with Sliding Doors, Walnut, Customizable
About the Item
The Neary credenza is built in our Brooklyn studio using premium hardwoods and thoughtfully selected wood veneers. It is a contemporary retelling of a classic Mid-Century form, borrowing subtle details like the shadow-line reveal and the inlaid hardwood corners. The piece showcases sliding doors made of book-matched, highly figured veneer, and the door pulls are shop made of matching hardwood. COM hardware is accepted as well. As shown, the Neary credenza is sized nicely for a media unit or sideboard. Available in a multitude of sizes and configurations; please inquire for customizations. Made of solid wood and veneer with a hand-rubbed oil and wax finish.

Rather Well Design
Rather Well Design is an American studio dedicated to designing and building heirloom quality furniture. Our line of furniture centers around a contemporary retelling of classic American craft. We design with a restrained aesthetic that allows the materials and techniques to speak for themselves. By showcasing traditional joinery and paring away the unnecessary, we put the focus on the functionality of the object. We aim to speak to the luxury market with a collection that is unpretentious in form and unparalleled in craft. Every piece is built to order in our Brooklyn, NY studio. Rather Well Design was founded in 2013 by Eric Payne. After studying Furniture design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Eric moved to Brooklyn to continue honing his craft. He cut his teeth working for WRK Design/Build and luxury furniture brand Matthew Fairbank Design. Rather Well initially began as an outlet to explore form and craft, as well a platform for Eric to develop his own work. Now, he currently spends his days covered in sawdust, listening to NPR, and crafting every piece that Rather Well produces.
All of our pieces are are made to order, and fully customizable. We can adapt the size, configuration, add doors or drawers, cord exits, media venting, etc. We craft each piece to be the perfect fit for its space and function.\n\nMaterials: American walnut, white oak, ebonized oak, maple.\n\nCustom finishes available upon request.\n\n
