George Nakashima Three-Door Credenza in American Walnut with Pandanus Cloth

About the Item

Rochlis Case by George Nakashima, 1966. This credenza (sideboard) is crafted from American Black Walnut and Pandanus (grass cloth) with an overhang and three sliding doors with inside drawers and storage spaces. Concise dovetail wood-joints bond the walnut slats. The cabinet rests on top of a walnut support base. Made for Hart (original owner), notated verso. Certificate of Authenticity from the Nakashima Foundation.
