Pair of Italian Inlaid French Louis XV Style Bombe Nightstands by Roma Furniture in Walnut Briar. Nightstands feature beautiful floral inlay, bronze ormolu, shapely bombe form, two dovetailed drawers, cabriole legs, and stunning walnut briar wood grain with a high gloss lacquer finish. Owners provided the original purchase receipt from Roma Furniture dated 1975 with a total cost of approx $5,700 for the full bedroom set. In 1995 the owners inquired about replacing the long dresser alone and they received a letter from Roma Furniture with a replacement cost of $7,900 for the dresser and $21,000 for the full set with a lead time of 5-8 months! Images of original receipt and letter attached. Measurements: 26.5" H x 30.5" W x 15.5" D.
