French Raised Two-Drawer Marble Top Wood Chest on Cabriole Legs
About the Item
A French nicely raised chest with marble top. This vintage chest from France features a white marble top which rests atop a wooden chest consisting of two drawers flanking between canted front side posts, and raised elegantly upon four slender cabriole legs which terminate into leafy brass feet. Elongated carved recessed panels decorate the side posts, while skirting is in clean lines with a downward carved scallop at front center. Brass hardware and trimming outfit the recessed panel drawer fronts. This lovely French chest with marble top would make a great addition to a bedroom or powder room as a great place to hide toiletries and linens.
