Early Welsh Country Oak Chest with Crossbanded Top and Quarter Columns

About the Item

An early Welsh chest of drawers with original handles and stylized ogee feet. Classic two-over-three construction and generously proportioned. Note the fine reeded quarter-columns. Interiors of the drawers are very clean for the age of the piece. Note: This chest is very early and the feet have been newly restructured and reinforced for stability. They maintain their original facades.
