Tall Cabinet Designed by Rene Gabriel

About the Item

A Classic example of post World War II French design. Rene Gabriel was one of the leading French designers of his time. He was commissioned by the French Government to re-build the coastal city of Le Harve. Gabriel designed the interiors of thousands of residential apartment buildings and used his "modular" furniture designs for the interiors. Out of the destruction of WWII, a new French design was born. This piece is a witness of that period.
