Museum quality and condition, Arts & Crafts era filing cabinet. This Dutch filing cabinet is another fine example of the quality furniture that was made in the earliest years of the 20th century. The angular design and the warm & wonderful patina are an absolute joy to look at. This original Arts and Crafts filing cabinet for home and office is not only pleasing to the eye though. It is as stable as the day it was handcrafted and as you can see, it is extremely well taken care of. The solid oak roller door still works perfectly too and it comes with a perfect working lock and key. The 'double bearded' key, by the way, is typical for filing cabinets from this era. This exceptional condition cabinet comes with as much as 9 drawers and an extra, open space just below the bottom drawer. Not only do all drawers slide perfectly, they are also in extremely good condition (just like the rest of this cabinet). The perfectly clean drawers (with some of the old, hand-written labels still in them) give space to a lot of love letters, sheet music, comic books, photo albums, paperwork etc. Thanks to its timeless design and excellent condition this antique filing cabinet will look great in different types of interiors, both at home and in your office.
