Stunning Identical Pair of French bow front Santos Mahogany with well veined marble topped Bedside Lockers Nightstands of outstanding quality, last quarter of the Nineteenth Century, made by Edinburgh Cabinet Makers J & T Scott 10 George Street. Each with a single pull-out drawer above a single hinged door opening to reveal a single moveable shelf. These beautiful pieces are raised on four turned tapering supports, complete with their original well veined cream marble tops Condition: Superb condition with no losses, no evidence of repairs, both drawers are very smooth to use. A French painted & carved wood raised chest with marble top from the early 20th century. This antique chest from France features a rectangular-shaped white marble top with gray veining and pronounced rounded front corners, resting atop a case with rounded and fluted side posts which flank three graduated dovetailed drawers, with round bail-pull handles flanking the escutcheon at their centers. This commode is presented upon conical legs with fluted carvings metal feet. This piece has a pale blue finish, which still allows some of the natural wood grain to show through, and is accented with a gold accent trim. Please note that the original marble top has some slight stain/yellowing at it's top (see images for further details). This French raised and marble top chest, circa 1920's, would make a great side chest for a bed or sofa, or perhaps a sweet place to store hand...
