"Borculo" Series Cabinets by Martin Visser for 't Spectrum, Netherlands, 1960s

US$1,512.70per item

About

Very rare set of two cabinets with sliding doors from the 'Borculo' series. The 'Borculo' is a series of cabinets that was designed by Marting Visser for 't Spectrum. The first designs of these series are from 1957. The collection of 1964 was designed in corporation with Jos Manders. Wengé veneered sides with white laminate veneered shelves and white sliding doors with metal handles. One cabinet with doors to the top and one with the doors to the bottom. These cabinets are not on the market very often. These cabinets are in a very good condition with some minor signs of age and use. Both are labelled on the back. We also have a matching cabinet with drop leaf table available from the same provenance. See picture for the set of three together.
