French Buffet Deux Corps Bressan 19th Burl Walnut Cherry Tree Wood Style Lxvi

Exceptional buffet two bodies "Deux Corps" pur style Louis XVI in Burl Walnut and fruit wood. Very fine quality Provincial French LXVI style. the fruit wood is very finely carved with the LXVI strait motifs in the central part of the piece. Excellent color and Patina. Délicat design for the veneer around each drawer and on the central top under the cornice of the piece. Each front panel is made of burl of walnut in " Butterfly design shape " with carved rosettes at each angle . The Provincial cabinet makers of this region of Bresse produced characteristic furniture’s from the 18th century to the 19th century always using contrasting woods. The Bresse region around Lyon has a traditional reputation for rich and sophisticated cuisine and furniture’s. Drawers are 3" 75 deep upper part shelves are 14" deep Lower part shelves 21 deep.
