Layers Large Glass Bookshelves, by Design Nendo from Glas Italia

Layers Bookshelves is shown here in the matte extralight lacquered glass, and in large size of the two tables. Bookshelves in white matt extralight lacquered glass, 8+8 mm. thick laminated and glued. The shelves are partially obscured by sliding doors suspended from the top, made of transparent glass with special colors which, by overlapping, create constantly changing chromatic imagery. Two versions are available with doors in warm tones (orange-red-brown) and in cold tones (blue-grey-violet). The top and the doors can be dismantled. Nendo was born in 1977, Toronto, Canada. In 2002 he graduated from M.A. in Architecture, Waseda University, Tokyo, and established ""Nendo"" Tokyo office. In 2005, he established ""Nendo"" Milan office. 2006 Nendo was awared ""The 100 Most Respected Japanese"" (Newsweek magazine). In 2007, ""The Top 100 Small Japanese Companies"" (Newsweek magazine). In 2010, A jury member of iF award. 2011, ""Famous for 15 Years: The Wallpaper* 150"" (Wallpaper* magazine). 2012, Established ""Nendo"" Singapore office, and was awareded ""Designer of the Year"" for Wallpaper* magazine, as well for the Elle Deco International Design Award.
