Mid-Century Modern "Ameba" Rosewood Sofa attributed to Jorge Zalszupin, 1960s

About the Item

The Ameba Sofa was produced in the 1960s and attributed to Jorge Zalszupin (1922-2020). The massive Sofa in Rosewood veneers is a perfect combo of organic shapes with oversized leather cushions and back compartments to display small objects and books. Its authorship is still unconfirmed by archival images. Among its beautiful design, the sofa provides high comfort for the user, one of the modern concerns of furniture creators when designing their pieces. The Ameba design is perfect for relaxing, involving the body, and allowing it to rest. This restored piece is in very good vintage condition. New cushions can be provided according to the customer's taste. This model also has a pair of armchairs, which is equally gorgeous and available in our collection.
