Italian 1940s Sofa Attributed to Guglielmo Ulrich
About the Item
A beautiful long sofa attributed to Guglielmo Ulrich, the master of Italian classicism. This sofa is an exceptional example of Ulrich's architectural skill where line becomes form and back again.
The sofa has a wonderful downward and elongated curve to the back and a luxurious scroll to the arm, all elegantly held in by a sweeping U shaped mahogany frame ending on brass sabot feet.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. The superstructure, padding and cushion support are in very good condition. The upholstery is used with minor marking, there is open fraying to the cushions and split to the fabric in one arm and top right shoulder. Ready to be reupholstered.
