An antique Chinese rosewood side chair from the early 20th century, with marble medallion inlay and open fretwork. Born in China during the early years of the 20th century, this exquisite side chair captivates us with its fretwork design, dark patina and marble inlay marking the center of the back. The rectangular wooden seat with recessed board is resting on a lovely apron with fretwork motifs echoing the top, while the chair is raised on four legs with in-curving accents. With its refined decor and dark patina, this Chinese early 20th century rosewood side chair will bring a touch of elegance to any home, perhaps placed in a bedroom or office or used in front of a vanity.
