Elegant Guido Faleschini swivel desk chairs by i4 Mariani for The Pace collection. The double-cushioned seats and backs retain the original high-quality and supple caramel leather upholstery. The cushioned seats sits atop a five star chrome base on moveable casters for ease of relocation. Two sweeping thick tubular chrome arms have comfortable padded arms on top. The leather covered backs are accented with chrome hardware. Underneath the chair is a telescoping mechanism to raise/lower the seat height on the chair, which can be adjusted a total of 4", up to a 24" seat height, perfect for those with long legs or who need to sit at a drafting table. Note, after we took photos of this chair for this listing, we had touched up the leather with matching leather dye, in the few small areas that had scuffs. The color of the leather now is even throughout and is excellent without any visible scuffing and is in almost mint, showroom ready condition. Such incredible style, no wonder these were featured in the hit Michael Douglas movie "Wall Street" in 1987, these chairs were located in his highrise executive office and can be seen throughout the movie. Very high quality of materials in these stylish task chairs, but the true selling point is comfort. The double-cushioned seat and seat back, combined with the thick padded arms make this a dream for those who demand ultimate comfort and ergonomics in their work chair. These chairs are not for those who need a wider space to sit. But for those with average to smaller frames, this chair makes you feel like it was perfectly made for your body. I am 5'10" and 165 Lbs and this chair fits me perfectly. A girl in our studio who is 5'6" and 125 Lbs says its the most comfortable chair she's sat in. If you have an average to smaller frame, you will appreciate this because the arms will be perfectly positioned under your elbows, which increases comfort and ergonomics, and your ability to sit for long hours focused on your work. The neutral brown / tan leather has a bit of orange red tones in it, which can also be described as a deep cognac color. This task chair would compliment various locations such as a living room, den, games room or office space. It would also be perfect in a hospitality or corporate location, such as; a boutique hotel lobby reception desk, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, or executive office. Perfect fit for Mid-Century Modern homes or offices, but also a great fit for Postmodern and Contemporary spaces.
