The original photograph is believed to either be in a private collection or destroyed in WW II. Dufet was an architect, interior designer and art critic. As a proponent of the functional modern style he introduced a discrete use of cubism into his interiors. He directed the largest interior design firm in South America from 1922 to 1927 in Rio de Janeiro.
