Pair of Danish 1940s Easy Lounge or Club Chairs Attributed to Fritz Hansen

$4,800Asking Price

About

Pair of elegant nice smaller size easy chairs from the late 1940s-1950s very typical of Fritz Hansen's design style both in terms of legs and armrests leading many dealers in Denmark to believe the chairs are indeed by Fritz Hansen. But unfortunately no documentation exist to support the provenance. These type of 1940s chairs are increasingly coming into voque, however. Made from stained beechwood with nicely sculpted/carved armrests. Some natural age wear (color fading and patina) to the armrests and minor scuffing to the legs. Great for the study or bedroom. Upholstered in a grey wool at a later point which remains in usable clean condition. Overall very good condition. We offer re-upholstery services on these chairs and can re-upholster with your fabric at a cost of $475 per chair.
