About the Item

An antique Indonesian reclining plantation lounge chair with bamboo slats and carved motifs. Designed to provide a relaxing experience to the sitter, this Indonesian lounge chair features a nicely curving body with bamboo slats, accented with two large sinuous arms resting on curving supports. Carved with scrolling foliage on the upper rail and apron, the chair is raised on four legs, the front ones being tapered while the hind ones show a curving shape and a stretcher. With its soothing lines, bamboo slats and dark patina, this Indonesian lounge plantation chair will bring a relaxed presence to any home, perhaps placed on a patio or covered porch.
