About the Item
A very iconic and stylish pair of 1970s lounge armchairs, Italian design by Jonathan de Pas, Donato D'Urbino & Paolo Lomazzi for Dell' Oca, Italy
Wonderful shape entirely moulded out of foam and covered with a beautiful cognac colored faux leather upholstery.
This very Pop pair of lounge armchairs is very comfortable and in good condition.
Jonathan de Pas (1932-1991), Donato D'Urbino (1935), and Paolo Lomazzi after previous professional experiences, both individual and with other architects began working together in 1966.
Their interest included Industrial Design, exhibition design, interior design, urban planning and architecture. They made their mark in the 1960s decade as exponents of the very fashionable and unconventional Pop design movement.
Their works are in permanent collections of several museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Centre Pompidou in Paris and in the Milan Triennale.
