About the Item

Unusual early second half of the 20th century set of 4 Gustavian axet dining chairs in distressed paint finish with wheatsheaf motifs. Lovely detail in the fluted legs and rosettes with carved front edge and trap seats for added comfort. The original fabric is in reasonable condition with some marks of wear and tear and you may wish to reupholster them in your own choice of fabric. The frames are structurally sound and in generally good condition with some paint distressing as expected. We can reupholster them for you for an extra charge in your choice of fabric prior to shipping.
