About the Item

This handsome set of eight (8) armchairs were designed by Guido Faleschini for the Italian maker i4 Mariani, under The Pace Collection. The seats and backs retain the original supple white colored leather upholstery and are attached to graceful chromed steel tubular frames, finished with subtle details such as the black weaved leather straps and surrounding area. Under one of the seats is an original i4 Mariani label. Designed in the 1970s in Italy, by Guido Faleschini for i4Mariani, these arm chairs, along with the Tucroma line of chairs have been a design staple for interior designers and high-end luxury homeowners and to this day, remain a classic go-to chair for top designers, collectors and architects alike. This set of dining armchairs are an excellent vintage example of the design and offers an ideal solution for an interior designer or art and design collector. These Guido Faleschini for Mariani / Pace dining armchairs would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Post-Modern room.
