Sharp, masculine and playful are the pieces of Meccano collection. The technical aspect of the construction world to car lifestyle give back a unique attitude to the collection. Edgy yet grateful Meccano represents the intimacy of Spinzi’s approach to furniture design with an outcome that is creative and Classic and the same time. This is the daybed with rounded corner and thin but sturdy structure reflecting the style of the Meccano collection. Inspired by the mechanical and aviation world, keeping the essential and giving a sense of minimalist to the space where it's placed, as a single piece mixed with other furniture or as a set. The sofa cushion is made my premium grey suede leather, very soft and warm at the touch. The finish is called Burned metal and it has the typical dark color with blue veins or stains the metal take when is forged in the oven, then power coated with transparent and semi translucent finish to protect the finish. Imperfections of the material color is the particularity of this collection pieces, every piece is different in shades of color, size of the stains / veins and welding points. A small amount of rawness balanced with the precision of the bends and the laser cut lines give to the pieces the right character, masculine, timeless and suitable for Brutalist and modernist architecture and interiors. Production time change from 3-6 weeks depending on the amount of orders accumulated on a specific time.

Spinzi Milano’s base is a creative hub, a loft gallery that is constantly shifting. This represents Spinzi’s diverse and constantly evolving perception of art and design. The Space is an open stage housing a selection of art and furniture pieces from Italian and international artists and designers. Founder of Spinzi Design, Tommaso Spinzi is an Interior and Furniture designer based in Milano. He worked in Switzerland, Australia and New York and this mix of international influences has shaped his approach to design. Right from the outset, Tommaso has worked in different areas of design and in varied contexts. He designs custom limited-edition pieces with sensual shapes and strong materials . Tommaso approach to furniture is a clear statement: generating the sense of beauty through living. His sculptural pieces reflect a cross linkage between automotive interior and fashion.
