This petite 1930's leather club chair has a richly aged patina and tasteful proportions. The soft lamb leather is without large tears or gashes --good condition, considering its age and use. The nailheads are almost all original, with only a few discreetly replaced. The original seat cushion most likely wore out and was replaced a dark brown velvet one that closely matches the spirit of the old leather. It is an authentic, vintage replacement that is quite common and totally accepted for a genuine antique. The original springs have been re-tied and preserved. The wooden feet and frame are from an unknown hardwood and in good condition. The feet can be re-stained and varnished at the customer's request for no additional charge.
