About the Item
The elegant and exclusive Pendolo chairs combine elementary but at the same time audacious geometries giving life to a singular sits with five legs. The wood material is revisited through a superficial burn process. The italian artisans make use of the ancient Japanese technique called Shou Sugi Ban, in which the surface is burned with a high flame and making it assume that characteristic color.
The material takes on a different connotation by telling a path and assuming forms independent from the hand of man.
The irregularity of the new surface and the geometric purity of the structures create a continuous game of contrasts. The processing is entirely handmade by italian artisan.
Each beautiful Pendolo chair is unique.

For clearing operations, we recommend using a cloth dampened with water and avoid detergents and abrasive substances.
The wood charring process causes the creation of a typical superficial coat; it is possible that some small parts of that coat will detouch from the piece of wood itself with time passing. Even this is the part of the artistic process.
