Satinwood Victorian High Back Armchair or Voltaire Chair, 1860s

About the Item

Magnificent and rare Victorian high back armchair or Voltaire chair. Striking Dutch design from the 1860s. This wonderful piece of furniture is rare because of its design especially on the side of the chair. Satinwood frame and re-upholstered with quality Italian fabric in ivory. Original brass wheels. In very good original condition with a beautiful patina.
