About the Item
A fine pair of original and elegant 19th century French Louis XVI armchairs or fauteuils with beautiful quality upholstery. Hand carved, hand painted. Each on classic Louis XVI fluted and tapered legs with "supports d'accotoir a feuilles d'acanthe".
These beautiful armchairs are very comfortable and strong enough to use daily.
Great accent pieces in any room.
Measures: Seat height 17 3/4"
Condition: The fabric is in very good condition, minor wear on the armrests.
