Pair of 19th Century French Louis XIII Fauteuils, Armchairs
About the Item
Pair 19th century French Louis XIII Fauteuils, armchairs were sculpted from solid fruitwood, and feature gracefully scrolled armrests coupled with high, arched seatbacks and generous seats resulting in uncommon comfort. The lower apron was pierce-carved in a stylized foliate theme, contrasting with the turned stretchers and lions' paws feet. The chairs are upholstered in a burgundy mohair for an opulent touch,
